The Gift from Your Past

For this contest I chose to focus on my grandpa because he is a big part of my life because my father was never really in the picture. He's given me a lot of things in the past, mostly knowledge and comfort. My grandpa came from a poor family in Mexico and worked as a mechanic since he was a teenager. He's always love machines and during the holidays he pulls out a toy train that he puts underneath our Christmas tree. I always remember being with him when I was little and helping him set everything up. 
In addition to giving him everything he's given me (and this drawing), I would give him another train. (the current one has been breaking down a lot over the past couple of years.) It seems like something so material and unimportant but he always gets so excited to set up the train and plays with it like he's 10 years old again. 
In the drawing it's supposed to be him as he is now and his younger self. (The boy in the drawing isn't me because I'm 18 and a girl)

(I'd also give the prize tablet to my cousin since she likes to draw and her's doesn't really work that well anymore)
